I used to have a Dell Streal 5 (Froyo) and it mounted its external SDcard as /mnt/sdcard

I just switched to a Galaxy Note, and it mounts it internal SD card onthat path, and the external is in /mnt/sdcard/external_sd

Profimail's 'memory Card' setting thus now goes to the internal SD card.

We need an option to specify the full path for the external SD card, so we can have Profimail use the external SD card.

Sorry, this is not possible. Data are either in system memory, or on /sdcard whatever this memory location is.

I find that answer very unsatisfactory. Other apps (Titanium backup etc) have no problems offering a path setting for their data storage, so why can't ProfiMail?

For a rather expensive app that I have supported since Symbian times, the level of support and willingness to implement requested features in lacking, ESP when it comes to overcome 'limitations' or quirks in different Android versions

Same problem here, never heard such an ignorant statement, still wait for the moment, when i can replace this dusty, old buggy program. Also used it many years since symbian. Its time is over, its a shame....
