Looking nice on my galaxy tab, thanks. Maybe you can add how ProfiMail is currently working (IMAP IDLE or checking mails every X minutes). But it might be difficult if just some accounts are in IDLE-MODE.

It works for any new message that has "recent" flag set, so also for POP3 accounts.

The widget freezes after a while and doesn't react anymore. Probably this has sth. to do with sleepmode in which Profimail is going to be set by the system.

Nice to see a widget, but:

It would be nice to have the option of different sizes. I, for one, would like it 4x3 so it's a full screen widget on the HTC Desire.

I would also like the option to choose if it shows only new mails or all mails (from whichever certain accounts).

Not sure how easy (or difficult) this is as I'm not a programmer but I can live in hope.

Do I have to have PM open in background to have the widget working?

Easy answer: yes.

If PM is not running in the background the widget says "Click here to open ProfiMail" (or something similar).

BTW: I can't open ProfiMail if I click on the PM-Icon.

Can't open from widget too. Pm in background. Widget not updated. Seems like alpha more than beta yet.

The widget looks good. But I hope the final version will be scalable and the fontsize will be adjustable.

Maybe we'll make one more 3x1 version.
It's scalable on ADW launcher already now, where every widget is scalable

The buttons to delete, answer or hide an email didn't work on my galaxy tab in the version from yesterday. I'll try the beta from today later.

Edit: the widget is still useless. The buttons are not working. The PM-Icon is not working either.

To me, a list of folders with unread messages (and the possibility of displaying the unread messages from those folders) would be more useful than just displaying messages. Is that in the plans?

In 3.49 I can't resize the widget on my Galaxy Tab 10.1.

It's resizable only on some home screen applications. Try to use ADW.Lanucher.

Sure, with Launcher Pro I can resize almost every widget using Gingerbread. But with Honeycomb I can resize widgets without using another Launcher if the widget supports resizing. The PM-widget doesn't.

Hi,

I tested it on my Galaxy S2-I9100 running 3.48 Beta.
With Touchwiz default Launcher the buttons worked all the time!

Since I have the GO Launcher installed (which I prefer, also tried ADW some time ago...), the functionality of the buttons disappear when changing home screen orientation and does NOT come back until I delete the widget and create a new one.

I guess it will be the same on ADW, when changing homescreen orientation? Perhaps sb could test this...

I also tested that it has nothing to do if profimail is running or not... (Functionality of the Widgets ProfiMail icon)

Hope that helps, would love to have a working widget in a few months! $\:D/$

We'll fix frozen buttons in widget in ver. 3.50+
Also will add widget preview on tablets (Android 3.1) and support resizing on tablets.
