Here's test version with new image viewer, where images may be moved by sliding left/right to go to previous/next image.
What else would you like to have in image viewer?

2011-06-15: Feature released in 1.53

I've tested it, and it seems quite nice. Fast changing images and smooth panning.

Buggs in X-plore v1.52

Quote:
1. In inbox files received via Bluetooth, does not play audio files (test - mp3), but when you open sis, sisx and video files, writes that "Application not found. Do you want to remove the temporary folder and open the system?". I would like to open the program, and not in the system.

2. If using Bluetooth to transfer the archive (test - rar) which are
a) picture, then at the entrance to the Inbox - Archive - nothing appears in the archive, picture doesn't open.
If you move the archive, then after moving the program crashing.
b) a sound file (test - mp3): wrote that the "Application not found. Do you want to remove the temporary folder and open the system?" Yes, retrieved an unknown destination, offers a standard player, but the melodies in it is absent!
c) the video just as well, but it opens up.
d) documents (txt, doc, docx): wrote that the "Application not found. Do you want to remove the temporary folder and open the system?" Yes, nothing further Do not remove or open!
Why this files don't open in a program? Why in system?

3. When you delete files from the inbox (mp3, mp4, txt, docx, rar) the program crashes.

Nokia N73 ME [Symbian 9.1]

on Symbian such 9.4 errors are not present, only on Symbian 9.1-9.2.

Fix, please.

Thats great, a big improvement! Thanks.

Previews for images in an openend folder (not only if one file is selected) would be very much appreciated and would Xplore make the perfect file manager.

Cheers

One strange thing in this build. When opening any image in .zip, the load progress bar don't appear. But when switching to next/previous image from currently opened image than everything OK with progress bar.

Okay, here's some suggestions that shouldn't be too hard to implement...

- Zooming in and out using audio volume buttons. Touching, holding and selecting Zoom In/Zoom Out in full screen mode is slow. Multi touch would be perfect, although it could be hard to implement.
- By default I've set the image viewer to start in full screen mode. However, when I open an image the file name is shown on the top and I have to disable and enable full screen again in order to get rid of it. Just make it never appear in full screen mode or have it as an option.
- The sliding-to-switch-image gesture seems to be too sensitive
- The setting, whether to show scroll bars or not, should be saved so I don't have to switch it off every time I open an image.

Thanks for this handy utility, far more powerful than the default file manager in Symbian.

lol, this improvements are for "touch only" devices. And as I know there is no S60v2 touch devices at all.

Small improvement is also for key control. Cursor left/right is used for prev/next image (if there's no zoom in).

Hm, I noticed problems in text editor in this build. After using "Find" in edit mode cursor freezes. It stops blinking and can't be moved.

And one little issue with "Find" field. It blinks when I type text.
Or it's not bug, but feature?

The new picture viewer is great! And the fullscreen is working as FULLscreen on N8.
But when switched to fullscreen on Nokia N8 I can't switch back (since there is keyboard and so no F key...)

Would it be possible to implement zoom lock feature. f.e. when I find proper zoom level when viewing a picture, could it be possible to lock this zoom level when I go to the next picture ?

This is usefull especially for viewing picture archives.

I hope this is not too much work to implement.

Best regards,

Erol
