Yes it's already prepared, waiting for next release.

=D> 2 wishes left :)

Next wish is:

How about to start make use of devices DSPs, improve equalizer and add effects similar to JetEffects from Cowon mp3 players (BBE, Mach3Bass, etc.)? :)

Make sure that your keypad is in the numeric mode.

The about box does not show the keypad if I don't have the physical keyboard pulled out because it is not an editable area. So I can't use the software keyboard to type 800. When I do have the physical keyboard out, it does not work if I do the following:
a) press rightmost arrow twice to get into number mode and then type 800 or
b) press rightmost arrow once each before pressing 8,0 and 0.

Anyone has this working on a touchscreen device?

Thanks

Hi, I found a very unsettling bug in LCG jukebox playing on E72.

I've tried just a few songs (2 or 3) and they all "click". There are clicks every 2-3 seconds. Impossible to listen like this.
I tried the same songs in the standard mp3 player and they play just fine.

is it because I'm using the trial version? or is it a bug?

thanks,

Hi, it looks like the same issue here on E72. Same as described.
I think it will be fixed in the next build. :)

I am also using an E72, with the December 24 build, but have experienced no clicks at all.

My requests:

1) Customizable keys. The "T" does not work properly on the Nokia E72 or E62. Instead of bringing up the playlist, it just stops the current song from playing and that's it. I remember several versions of LCG Jukebox ago when "7" brought up the playlist and it always worked. I was hoping that it would be different on my new E72, but alas.

2) Stars. Is it possible to view the rating (by number of stars) from the tag? The Nokia software doesn't show stars, either, so maybe this just isn't a phone thing. But this IS a wish list ...

3) Speeded-up playback. I tried a thing called Core Player once that had one great feature (when it wasn't crashing my phone), where it would play back audio at 100% or 110% or 120%, up to maybe 200%. This was way cool for audiobooks and podcasts and other things that can benefit from going a bit faster. Sometimes my brain works faster than at other times, so it's good to have the ability to vary this speed.

4) Don't make it louder. A lot of people have requested this, but I like having the option of listening to very quiet things in a very quiet space. Or, if you do make it louder, please leave the value of the 1 volume right where it is. My ears will really appreciate it.

Anyway, thanks for making the program. It's the first thing I bought for my new phone. I wouldn't know what to do without it.

E72, 022.007 firmware, English locale (interface and input language)

1. "T" does successfully call the playlist window
2. --- (not using ratings from tags, so I dunno)
3. --- (not using speed-up, so same as 2 - dunno)
4. Agreed, the loudness are OK right now, the more you increase loudness the less detailed sound will be. I'm currently listening to music from my home system through LCG Jukebox with <10 bars sound level.

I, too, am running firmware version 022.007, dated 10 Dec. 2009, with English for all options.

I know that at one point in the past my old E62 had this problem until a new version came out. I tried reinstalling version 2.50 onto my E72, but it still doesn't work right. Hmmm.

UPDATE: I just installed version 2.60 and the problem persists!!! Shoutcast is cool, tho. Customizable buttons would make it just about perfect.

Two unrelated wishes:

5) Battery life. I'd like to have the battery icon visible in the title bar like so many other programs do. And maybe the connectivity bars on the other side, for symmetry's sake.

6) Time. Also in the title bar it would be nice to have a little digital clock. You can get carried away while listening to tunes and not realize what time it is.

Thanks again.

There has been a discussion on having a clock. Any updates LCG Admin?

Hey there. I was able to duplicate the clicks on accident. I was listening to some mp3s in LCGJ on my E72 while transferring some files via bluetooth to the phone. There were no clicks at that point. But, when I attached my Zen mp3 player to my PC via USB, clicking started in the phone playback. Honest. Unplugging the Zen got rid of the clicks. I'm guessing that the hardware initialization interfered with the bluetooth connection somehow, and that upset the phone. Have you tried turning off your bluetooth to see if the clicks go away? Just to narrow it down?

It is possible on s60v5 phones. I dunno how on s60v3 and others. There is a small button with window sign at right up corner. It switches full screen mode to small mode (with system bar).

1. I have found one bug: I can't import station list from .rsl file in version 2.60. Application does not save imported list. It is visible for a while after import but in next times I open Shoutcast stations menu old list is loaded. Last version (2.50) can handle importing station list from file very well.

2. One wish for next release: Ability to use system equalizer instead of JB default.

hi all...

first... this is my first post in this forum...

so... my wish for the LCG-Jukebox is that this application may be able to read music formats like .wma, .wav, .ogg, etc.

i hope that in the future this program read that music formats, specially .wma because its a format like mp3, only that its more smaller in size... ^^

that is my wish ^^

bye

@MaLaS: Simply, "FM Transmitter" option in Jukebox is a link to the built-in FM Transmitter of your phone, in another word Jukebox has no function of transmitting FM ;)

Yeah, same thing on my N78 with latest firmware. But on my friends N78 with FW v10.136 (very first FW) that option works well. I tried many 3rd party audio players and none of them could transmitt sound, only build in. So, FM transmitting option is just useless on N78 with latest FW (I tried it on v12, v20, ,v21, v30, no luck), only works on FW v10.136 wich is too buggy.

Hey!
Ive only tried the trial version on my E52 so far. I have the latest fimrware+jukebox 2.65 (trial), but i have those "clicks" in the music(every ~30 sec), especially when i im playing with the equalizer for some more fitting settings to my songs(every ~5 sec).
Any idea what could i do, since only that keeps me back from buying it?

(i dont have such problems with the inbuilt music player).

Thanks for thelp!

What apps do you have in background? Try close 'em all. And switch off apps with autostart (taskmans, shells, call managers etc). Try install Jukebox into phone's memory and copy some problem songs into phone's memory too and try play them from it, maybe problem in your memory card.
