Yeah trouble is I've only just been convinced to use googlemail. Not sure I have the appetite to move all my mail again. Oh well it' a bug I can put up with or at least see if there's any googlemail forums requesting that googlemail complies wiith whatever is needed here.

That is not bug. It is IMAP extension (optimization), some servers may implement it, some not.

Naive use of the word 'bug'. Thanks for the link I can go and see if googlemail has any plans to implement servers capable of this feature. BTW not actually read the rfc yet.

I still (never did) can't see some messages body, Profimail 3.15c just shows white page. Seems this in headers is the reason:

first of all, great app! saved me from dumping my E71
native IMAP implementation is really bad and nokia email clearly still is beta with all issues I had with tit (too long to list)

few feature/tweaks requests for profimail though:
1) Homescreen implementation, would be really, no REALLY great if this can be done.

2) Default folder for mailbox: if I click mailboxname, go directly to inbox, if you want to change: "menu-> view folder"
think 99 out of 100 people want to see inbox right away, so will save a lot of clicking I think.

3) More space on the signature lines, Can't put my full name and company on one line?

4) support for outlook (or other?) meeting requests. With MFE on the Nokia this is done quite nicely, hope it can be done. Profimail connecting through IMAP to exchange 2003 works like a dream.

Redecal, if you want to see inbox straight away then there is a tweak 'Go to Inbox'. Tick it.

Doministry, if you will install any future version over the current version then all your emails will be there as they were earlier.

Some past updates were deleting everything,
that's why I ask..

through menu acces a screen with all folders (as it is now)
WM Outlook has this feature and I think most people want to go
to Inbox right away; note that I write MOST not ALL

Use the tweak I suggested in my last post for going to Inbox directly.

thanks for the n97 home page widget. can you give me more info on how to use it..

1. do you have to leave profimail running or does it startup and update in the background

2. when i tried it .. the widget did appear on the home page when i added it but only the icon.. the content area (i presume) on the right of the icon had no information and was just blank.. it looked to me like it wasnt updating.. do i need to set mailboxes to push or something .. i tried that and still nothing.

When the widget is enabled, PM is started automatically by system and runs in background (or foreground). Area on right is blank if mail was not checked yet.

not sure if this got overlooked but is there any chance this could be implemented?

Here´s my list:

1) When we download full body, if images aren´t with the body, they´re not downloaded, being downloaded only when u open the message. If during the check, we could have the option of download external files, like image files for example, it would simplify a lot the loading... cause i use most part of the time Wifi connection, so there´s no problem with spending data, but when i´m out of the range, i just can´t see the images without using a data plan, that i don´t have money to pay.

2) Input proxy options for Wifi connections inside profimail, as only profimail don´t load proxy settings from nokia connections... other program´s as opera, web browser, load websites and images perfectly, only profimail that does not load images...

3) Where can i translate Profimail to Brazilian Portuguese?

4) Input a keyboard shortcut to load images inside profimail, as already exists one (I) to zoom images opened inside profimail messages.

5) Integrate with nokia active desktop (don´t remember the name)... to have the option to show emails or at least the number of unread messages an ability to load profimail right from active desktop

6) Show the info in about of "Registered User". I´m a proud owner of Profimail

I don´t know if it´s a bug of profimail, but i´ll post here. I noticed in version 3.15 and now in 3.20. Sometimes, i don´t know if it´s happening cause of the same file name, but one email is using images from older email messages.

not sure if peeps will want something like this...

I use Vodafone live for all my IMAP Idle connection sending/receiving... however when I'm home and I get an email that has an large attachment I don't want to download this over my Vodafone connection... I know I can go in and manually change my connection to WLAN; download the attachment and then change the setting back to Vodafone...

Is there a way I could have an option on attachments to "Download by WLAN" or something similair? I'm guessing they'll be an issue over authenticating to different connections to my mailbox...? But I thought I'd ask...?

I have been using v3.14 for couple of months, few days ago i upgraded to v3.2 and found out two functions in tweak section that i need have been removed by LCG.
The two functions are:
1. use volume keys
(I always use it to scroll my emails, its very useful and fast)
2. Preview scroll marks read
(I need to scroll preview email without mark as read, V3.20 default set it as read)

Currently, I downgraded it back to v3.14 just to get back these functions.

I am sincerely hope that LCG team will bring back these functions in coming upgrade as I think some users might also need them.

It's still there in Tweaks!!!
