I have seen that you have implemented a flashing LED when a new mail arrived! Thats very great and a first step for the perfectness!

Do you also plan to implement the vibration functionality?

Sorry, maybe somebody asked already or everybody knows, but - is the PM 3.0 going to save all mail after installing it over 2.91, or I will have to download all my Inbox again? The same question about Sent and Drafts.

And another question - are you going to make an option "save sent messages on the server" and is it possible?

Keep in mind, most of these "disconnects" are MOST LIKELY due to your cellular carrier's GPRS TIMEOUT settings ...

...although I guess I could be wrong.

The problem did not exist in beta 4.

Typing in email addresses in "Cc:" or "Bcc:" doesn't work correctly. Bug: "Cc:" doesn't allow more than one. "Bcc:" leaves some letters which were used for searching.
Main address field works correctly.

Congrats to the improvement from V2.91 to 2.93b5.. just tried today and have to say: very impressive!

Using E66, its fast and so far working fine with my two imap idle accounts. Any found bugs will be reported.. but so far none found.

Now the only big point left to do is system integration in TODAY screen.. :D

The only way to ensure deletions are completed is to do an update before doing anything else. If you mark items for deletion and then do a move on another message or send a new message before doing an update then the deletions appear to have happened on the device but are not actioned on the server. If you disconnect and then reconnect, the deleted messages reappear (though a simple update on the same connection won't bring these messages back).

yes deletion is the thing for me that i currently dont like very much.
I personally dont want to see emails with a red X, if i am in imap idle mode then when i press delete, delete the message on the server and purge it from the phone immediately.
if a deletion comes in from the server delete it from the phone immediately

Hello!
I have a very big problem. I use i900 omnia (ppc), and it does not have a normal d-pad. Is it possible to do a touch screen friendly scrolling when you see the email's headers? When I open an email the scrolling with finger is perfect. But when I open my email box on the left scrolling bar is to thin, I can hardly touch with my fingers. It will be a very big improvment. There will be a lot of ppc which wont have dpad. Such as I900, HTC touch HD... Thanks for your answer.

I tried beta5 on my P1i and found the following:

_ themes don't seem to work (they should on UIQ 3.x - right?)
_ flashlight doesn't flash on message arrival

_ I would also vote to move the new messages indicator to the top of the screen, as it now covers the right navigation button (update: in beta5 it is at the top of the screen, but I would prefere to have it in inside the standard status-bar, where all the other indicators are located)

Everything else is really great, especially the new IMAP-IDLE support!

Themes must work on SE P1i. Go to Configuration, and select 1st theme, which is device skinned theme. Old color themes are still available for selection.

Yes, PM will close connection after while. Option for keeping connection was removed, because it was confusing to users about what it actually does. And we're keeping number of config options in reasonable amount, removing most obscure ones.
If you really need to keep connection open, you should start some other internet application in background (e.g. open some simple web page in browser).

Well, I was using PM for keeping the connection open for another application. What's the point of closing the connection after a while anyway?

To free unnecessary resources, save power and memory.

If I want to save power etc. by closing the connection I can readily do that without PM's help by closing PM or by closing the connection with the connection manager, ie, closing the connection automacally is not needed and just wastes my money. Using another app to keep the connection open needs even more resources than letting PM keep the connection open. Please give us back the option to let PM keep the connection open.
