Beta 5 still tries to go IDLE although I've disabled IDLE in PM's settings.

Version 2.94 contains mainly bug fixes reported here. Not many features are planned to version 3.0, as we want to make it mainly stable.
One bigger planned feature is update time schedule ("working hours" for ProfiMail when it will actively download messages).

2.94 adds interesting upload of drafts to imap server. So you can continue to compose messages in different place.

I tested couple of ProfiMail betas on my Sony Ericsson P1i and everytime I upgrade from for ex. version 2.91 to one of the betas all mail stored in inbox disappeares. After rolling back to stable version mail is visible to me again. In versions 2.93 beta 4 and 2.93 beta 5 when I want to check for new mail application crashes and I reveive Kern Exec error. In 2.94 beta 1 when I try to check mail I receive No Host Found error. I tried to change default access point settings but with no result. No matter what connection is set as default apllication doesn't seem to use that connection at all.

Just tried PM 2.94b1, way to go LCG!!

Now if you would just satisfy the first point of the post titled "Behavior/Display requests" on the first page of this thread, it would be awesome (especially useful since PM is running on small screen devices).
Nonetheless, I'm glad I gave you my money by buying this app.
Keep it up.

If PM is configured to upload sent email to the Sent folder, the green envelope in the Sent folder will display my address (instead of the recepient's address) in the "To" field .

I'm having some issues with 2.94b1

I'm getting a lot of 10038 errors where the phone apparently isn't seeing a data connection. I keep trying to connect to different accounts/folders and then it ultimately connects.

After not using it for a while, I get the errors again when I try to connect.

I'm on a Motorola Q, Verizon 1x network. My access point is set to internet. I tried setting it to automatic and the same thing happens, though the error number is different.

No problems when I was using 2.93b5.

Any ideas?

Please....... add 'keyboard' button to the taskbar on every screen in Windows Mobile version (same button as in new message window). On PPCs without hardware keyboard we cannot use shortcuts

ProfiMail 2.94 beta1 is not working in a N80 from a friend of mine. As soon as he choose the access point, ProfiMail shuts down automaticaly.
The old 2.91 works great.

And thanks for adding the 9 key to set read/unred.

im still getting emails with HTML not loading up i get bunch of letters and symbols...whats wrong here..im using the 2.94 and had the same prob with 2.93..pls help

One change from 2.91 to 2.94b1 is when moving a message from Inbox to a folder ... This message is then retained in the folder on the device and is also visible.

The only part of this that I don't think so good is the fact that the message counts shown on the account list page include these mails, as well as those in the Inbox. I would prefer an option to have these summary counts only be for the messages in the Inbox, and not for all folders if possible please (as I like to be able see at a glance the number of messages in each of my accounts Inbox's - i.e. on one screen).

I think something wrong, not sure if bug...

- sometimes profimail loss key, i hear the noise of "click" on TyTN2 keyboard but no char appears on display (other apps all fine)

- only 2 way to send email: immediate, next sync. Immediate hang the application for all duration of transmitting (it should be in background without lock application or not?)

- if i configure more than one account and while i move (or replying) using first account other account lost IMAP IDLE, maybe a wishlist, but an option to "IDLE retry" in minutes should be fine and good...

I like this latest version.

Seems more stable too.

I just *wish* it would show a mail Icon on my screensaver on my E71 as the native client.

I'm happy that my status light flashes though!

Yeah, that would be GREAT!

The "popup" is useful, but using standard "alert" (or both? perhaps) would be pretty nice!

not work... PM (win6.1) re-establish connection when i try to access mailbox, not waiting idle ping time, when fail a popup error (like "timeout connection") appears, and stop retry freezing application...

wish: imap uploading of sent messages to sent folder is a good feature, but sometimes i send photos and a message is big for uploading to sent...please make a question upload or not this message, or i'd like than there was a rule if message is bigger than 10kb (for examp) upload it. if not - doo not upload big messages.

Is it technically possible to add one more font size in between "small" and "normal" ? Small is a bit too small and normal too big for me..

Could you please change the menu setup and change positions?
When replaying on a msg, the first point in the MESSAGE menu is not REPLY, but DELETE. IMO delete is not the first choice at new msg arrivals, reply should be first. I find this quite confusing. Even more since for delete function i almost never open the menu but use the DELETE BUTTON..

I think you might be seeing the same thing as I have posted a couple of times recently.

Sometimes it can take me 10 or 20 times before I connect now. Something in the connection protocol clearly changed between 2.93 beta 5 and 2.94 beta 1.

LCG, any comments yet on this?

Should be easy to fix as it's obvious something changed and I know when it changed, so you must know what changed to break this.

I have same shit on my N73 with 2.91 ProfiMail version!
I can receive messages, but not to send!

Looks like a DNS lookup failure, try hitting imap idle disconnect, and then reconnect. that should do the trick

just try to connect once again.. it should work, but then i dont use pop3 on my phone.

otherwise force the connection closed (pressing call cancel key on the phones main screen) and then connect again. and if it gives an error, this time, dont kill the connection, just hit the call key and it will try again. DNS lookups are known to fail every now and then, its a good idea to have it retry.

The Profimail 2.94 beta1.. I just don't get it work.. It is just "thinking" on connect and popups "HOST NOT FOUND"!

And I have to say that Profimail 2.91 is not working on my N73. I can receive my messages, but not to send! I have checked those options thousands times and it don't send again those messages!!!

I don't have Wifi enabled mobile, so I guess when I'm using GPRS/3G setting from my mobile provader, it require to use the outgoing mail server of my provider. So I did those settings for incoming server as it required from my mail provader, BUT I've took mail adress in use from my mobile provader and used those mail's setting to set outgoing server. Now I have 3 different mail adress in use, whick sended messages go through the mobile provader's outgoing server!

I'm sorry for my bad english, but I'm so excited I've got my mail work at least!!!

PS I will now try to get work 2.94 beta1 on my device!
