Hi, using galaxy nexus, ics, using x-plore to pick attachments,
but only lets me attach one file each time, is it possible to mark several in one go instead of having to pick one by one?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately not, this is Android's limitation, where files for attachments are to be picked one by one.

Thanks for the answer, and sorry for having asked that, i didn't know it was os limitation, i thought it was me doing something wrong.
As I've just migrated from Symbian, it's running good, only let down it really is the ui..
Colors and all that, it would be great to have it integrated with system colors and 'feel', but anyway, better be running without any major issues ;)
Regards

check this out, not exactly a limitation, works with gmail app as well as profimail ;)

Tutorial to use the ES File Explorer to attach many files to an email

• Launch the ES File Explorer on your android device.
• You will immediately see a list of files and folders.
• At the top of the ES File Explorer screen you would see the Select button. Tap on this button.
• Here you will see “Multi-Select Ready…” as a popup notification at the bottom
• Tap away to attach the desired files. Selected files will be highlighted.
• Tap the Menu button on your android device.
• Tap Operations and Select Share from the popup list
• Select Gmail or any other mail app you use
• The selected files will show as attachments in the email message.

Sharing multiple files from a file manager is possible. Picking files from email client must be done one by one.
