I have been using Profimail for 3 or more years now. I am a big fan of it but............
From time to time when your website is down (like today 26th October 2011 from ? to 9.20am) Profimail can't connect to any of my accounts.
It wasn't the first time so it really annoys me. It is somehow connected with your website, because everytime my Profimail doesn't work, your website dosn't work either.

Man, you have to fix it or inform us when you are closing/upgrading your server etc..........

No problems here to connect my accounts. If PM can't connect to LCG server for access it will connect without that check next time you try to connect.

Yes there's online check, in case of LCG web down, PM may stop working for users of demo version. Purchased licenses should work in such case.
We'll try to make more improvements here in future.

Yes there's online check, in case of LCG web down, PM may stop working for users of demo version. - MINE IS NOT DEMO, and online check doesn't work for me

We'll try to make more improvements here in future. - WAITING FOR IT


I was in the middle of important meeting waiting for some important emails.........Profimail let me down.......
Also I had "Blue Screen" (similar to errors from Win XP) on my SG2 telling me about error with application and possible reinstall.

IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED, please

Maybe purchased licenses should work, but they didn't the last hours. :| According to the log-file http://www.lonelycatgames.com/internal/ ... ccess3.php was not reachable.

Please setup up a mirror-server for the online check on another server.

Perhaps you need to disable the on-line check for windows mobile users, since they are using freeware now. having it check your website is rather useless.

I think that the verification should be completely different.

It is totally unacceptable that your mail client cannot retreive mail when lonely cat servers are offline. Yesterday I wanted to order many of the lonelycat apps for my new Nokia E6. I bought LCG Jukebox, LCG Photobook, and X-plore, BUT I left out Profimail, just because I read this topic. And I will certainly not buy and use Profimail untill this issue has been resolved.

Protecting your software is okay, but please don't bother your paying customers with it.

ps LCC Jukebox is great!
